Coach Toombs

Doug Toombs - Owner / Hitting Coach

4 year starting catcher (1979-1983) Longwood College. Led the entire NCAA in hitting in 1980 with a .565 batting average. In 1980 Doug was Longwood College's first Male All-American. Doug played in the 1982 Division II College World Series. Doug finished his college career with a .397 career batting average. In 2002 Doug was inducted into West End High School Sports Hall of Fame, and was inducted into the Longwood University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2016 (1982 Baseball Team). Doug has been a professional hitting instructor for over 15 years.
